NEW* Support Group: Moments and Memories—an expressive arts therapy infant loss support group (virtual)
This bi-weekly virtual bereavement group is intended for parents who are grieving the death of an infant. Whether your baby lived for minutes or months, every moment spent with your baby was important. Together, we will explore how you wish to honor your baby’s life and commemorate their precious moments through creative activities and group discussions. No art experience is needed to attend this group, and any specific materials or supplies will be mailed to your home prior to the start of the group. This group will be facilitated by a Canuck Place counsellor, with the intention to steward a space with opportunity for individual reflection, and connection between group members.
Please note: These support groups are intended for families up to three years after the loss of a child who was cared for by Canuck Place and who are at least six months bereaved.
When: April 14–June 23 | Monday evenings bi-weekly, 6:30–8 p.m.
